A graduate in Iberian Studies from the University of Warsaw, he collaborated with the Spanish newspaper El PAIS from 1983 to 1996, initially underground and then as an official correspondent from 1989. He ventured into Polish media in 1992 with Polskie Radio and led TVP's news department from 1994 to 1996. Between 1996 and 2000, he was instrumental in creating and managing the ZOOM magazine at RTL 7. From 2000 to 2001, he co-founded TVN24 and served as its program director for nearly two decades, until December 2019. During this period, he also held various significant roles, including President of the Board of TVN24, Board Member of TVN, and Editor-in-Chief of Fakty TVN. Now retired, he continues to contribute to the Media Forum Foundation, working on projects related to media education.
